Just FYI....
Lamar Jackson has done absolutely nothing to warrant the hate he's received on this board.
He was the best player in CFB this year, PERIOD.

I think stats in big games and in November are important.
The Lamar Jackson hype began when he hurtled a player. A 3 second clip trumped a season of coming up big in every game.

I disagree with you about him being the best player in CFB this year. But there's no reason to go off on the young man for winning the trophy. Congratulations to him, stay classy like DW4.
I have a list of reasons Jackson shouldn't have won, but that he did certainly doesn't say anything bad about him!
And it's not as though I'm unbiased. But then, neither were a large percentage of the voters.

He is a great athlete. He was a dynamic player for several games this year. He would be dynamic as a receiver, db, or running back. He wasn't the best player in the country this year. He folded when it mattered, and definitely didn't have the attitude, or fortitude of a champion. The award was decided in early October. JHop, I have given you the benefit of the doubt in the past with some TU's, having said that, there is a reason your pulse hovers around 60%.

Not doing so gives every tiger hater a reason to show how classless we can be. Yes I think DW should've won this and last year, but as always he was a class act in accepting the votes decision. Everyone praises how well DW handles himself, then come on here and posts sh## that would embarrass him and his family. He didn't win the Heisman, but he will always a class act. The best thing our fans can do is to follow his example

Agree to disagree. DW is the best player period. LJ had more rushing yards. He failed to get his team into the playoffs. He failed to win the big games. But he beat FSU in convincing fashion. This what the voters remembered. They didn't remember the 3 losses. They didn't remember the fumble against Kentucky. They only saw the gaudy numbers against bad teams. Hey, LJ didn't vote for himself, the media was convinced from the very beginning with his 8 touchdowns against a less than average high school team in Charlotte. We all know DW is the man. He just didn't win the Heisman and it's not his fault.

Put down your crack pipe and step away from the keyboard. He was the best player for Louisville because either he ran it or threw it. He handed it off like 3 times all year. Also DW4 was on the sidelines in a few games because we were up so big. I rreally don't care about the Heisman because it has always been a joke. I will take the CFP championship any day over that worthless award.

I would have voted for Watson. Best football player in cfb, imo.
BUT.......
Lamar Jackson is a great football player and had a Heisman year. He deserved the award. He'll probably win it one more time, as well.
Also, he carried himself at the award ceremony and in pre-event interviews with dignity and humility. He made a big fan out of me. I'll pull for him for the rest of his career.....except that one game next year!
I am truly disgusted by some of the classless people that post on this site. They mock his suit(maybe that's all he could afford?.....and it doesn't matter, anyway).
These people are snobs. They are an embarrassment to Clemson.
