So why were we recruiting Edwards as a DB?

Dec 15, 2015, 12:43 PM

Is it because he would be a better DB than a WR? Or is DB more of the need for us?

I think he can play either at the next level but yall are pretty stacked at WR.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

i don't think he will have an nfl career as a wr.

Dec 15, 2015, 1:17 PM

That's based on muschump offenses are horrible. No one wants a receiver that only blocks for an offense that averages 20 points a game.

Because our coaches know where his NFL future is most likely

and they have an excellent track record in making these determinations.

They could have lied to him and moved him after his first year struggles. Evidently, they were the only ones of his two finalists who didn't.

Clemson is full at WR so he was offered as a safety***

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I would think it was because of a need for The Tigers.

Dec 15, 2015, 1:13 PM

The Fowl must have a bigger need at WR. Hopefully, both schools were honest with him so he could make a choice on his future.

The fact that he chose SC indicates to me that he REALLY, REALLY wants to play WR. :)

Muschamp honest? Surely you jest.***

Who's better @ evaluating WRs than CU's coaches?***

Here's a fact that can't be refuted.

Dec 15, 2015, 7:40 PM

Clemson University is the #1 program in the state of South Carolina putting it's players to succeed in the NFL or a career outside the NFL.

BV knows more about defense than Muschamp will ever know.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.
