So being drunk, getting arrested are not as bad as cussing.

Spurrier drunk on his TV show.

G A Mangus, drunk, urinating on Main Street, gets arrested.

These are obviously not as bad as cussing, as Spurrier and Mangus have NEVER been suspended.

USC Board of a Trustees, do you exist?

To be fair, that didn't happen while Tanner was AD***

Valid point. Eh, I consider what Martin did as worse

Mar 6, 2014, 5:17 PM

only because Spurrier seemed sort of mellow and wasn't caught swearing at a player

Board of Trustees. After what they let the former Pres do it is pretty clear that is a group in name only

If Martin was 17 and 10 he wouldn't be reprimanded either.

Mar 6, 2014, 6:03 PM

The State would be talkin' about his "hard-nosed coaching style" and how effective it is.

I can assure you that Ray Tanner will run a tight ship down there, or anywhere else he goes, for that matter.

Tell 'em coot

Mar 6, 2014, 6:44 PM

Yep he was real tough on Otis spurrier.

But not nearly as tough as Otis has been on his adopted son, you know the one with the prominent ears?

Sorry ramrod, but I see my place here as bringing the light of truth to some of those in darkness, you know, sort of like Dabo does. See, Dabo and I have a lot in common......can I get a witness? Woooowww!

Pardon me while I "ROFL"....Ray Tanner will do what he needs to do to make sure sports are winning...no matter what....or he won't have a job and he knows it.

This. If the game against Mississippi State actually meant something and they needed to win the game, no way Martin is suspended.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Martin is not winning. Spurrier is. That is all that

Mar 6, 2014, 6:37 PM

matters at SC.
