Sigh. Tommy Tuberville.

Nov 14, 2020, 6:58 AM

Doesn't know what the three branches of government are in a country he is now serving as a US Senator.

Doesn't know his daddy was not in fact fighting Socialists but Fascists and Nazis and Imperialists in WW2.

Has ever a man failed upwards so ably as Tommy Tuberville?

I know that Alabamans wanted a GOP Senator. That's fine.

But is Tommy Tuberville really the best they could find? Give Lindsey Graham his due, he'd shuck and jive triple axels around this clown and Tim Scott makes Tuberville look like an idiot studying to be a moron and in the words of my English friends, not studying very bloody hard. Like South Carolina's politicians or don't, nobody can argue we don't do top-drawer politicos here in this state. Graham, Scott, Haley, Sanford, Thurmond...these are extremely consequential politicians who all commanded or continue to command disproportionate amounts of national attention.

Tuberville is a straight derp. Like, what-the-actual-eff, Alabama? Tuberville?

Tommy>Roy Moore. Alabamians are willing to take a bit of risk. I was there when they elected Guy Hunt as governor who was a Primitive Baptist minister and was kicked out of office for misusing campaign funds. Don't even get me started on George and Lurleen Wallace as governors.

He’ll bail on Alabama and go find another state to be senator in.

It’s crazy how only GOP members say dumb things.

Probably because the Nazis called themselves socialists. I don't think they were in theory exactly. Crazy he doesn't know the 3 branches of government though. I think the immigrants that gain citizenship in the USA now are required to know them in their exam.

The Nazis were not socialists. It's astounding how many people do not know that.

The Nazis were a really sinister far-right-wing response to socialism. Yes, they were from the "National Socialist" Party. They were also pretending to be socialists because it fooled the "rabble" - the actual word Hitler and his leadership used - and kept them docile and obedient but they were actually Neitzschean manipulators who were all about the power of individual will, not the solidarity and greater good of all working men or the community.

The Nazis certainly weren't looking to, say, make common cause with all the oppressed working-class peoples of Russia. They wanted to exterminate them like they were doing to the Jews and take their land. The whole point of the war was to secure lebensraum - living space - for the Master Race, by exterminating the subhumans currently living on it.

That is kind of the opposite of socialism.

This is why he says it though. Kind of like when they try to act the Dems in the south that oppressed the black people back in the day were liberal Dems. They are manipulating the issues. Anyway...

Quozz, I thought that was kind of the game plan for the GOP, to elect the stupidest, least informed people possible so we can all point our fingers at government and see what a failure it has become, you know, like Betsy Devos and Rick Perry holding cabinet positions. Things like that should never happen, nor should have this, but it is by design.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

lol...

Nov 14, 2020, 11:48 AM

The branches of government don’t even know what their roles are anymore.

We are stuck with the executive branch making the laws. The legislative branch has just become a giant Toastmasters.

Tommy Tuberville is just a vote to keep the “enemy” (the other side) from getting their way...so what does it matter?
