I had been out of Clemson for a quarter of a century when that game was played ...... and so had you,youngster.

When I think of past running backs I always remember the ‘dynamic duo’ of Heide Davis and Smiley Sanders.
Remember those guys? The names didn’t bring fear to the opponents but they were pretty good for those days.

over SCAR by 7-3. He scored the only TD in that totally miserable affair. Winning was the only thing that made that game or the entire season palatable.

I wasn't at that game. But I was when we were down to NC State 30-0 at the half. We came back and had it somewhere around the State 40 and the score 30-28. Rodney Williams threw the ball to Tracy twice in a row. Dropped. Wide open. Great running back. Needed work on the catches.

Is that Kenny Flowers running the ball in this vid? I forget his number.
