Short ride up the hill yesterday

Getting ready for annual Sturgis run and took a short spin as a shakedown. This would be a five year anniversary(2010,2015,2020) which usually brings approx a million bikers together for some debacory and licker drinkin, not to mention the great rides. No idea how the Covid will effect the turnout.

Anyone brave enough to ride in the mountains without a helmet is certainly brave enough to ride in the mountains without a mask.

If you look closely at the seat, the helmet is laying right there. I believe this picture would have been taken at Cold Mtn., which is in NC. NC has a helmet law. When I used to live in G'ville and would go riding in the mtns, I always had to stop at the state line and put my helmet on. NC doesn't react very kindly to no helmet.

Love the Parkway. Was in Sturgis last summer but was July not August. Be careful out there and watch out for the idiots on there phones.

I thought the Sturgis run was in the Black Hills Of South Dakota. Where does the one on the parkway originate? Have fun and be safe.
