The Clemson Tigers converted one of my friends last year during the Notre Dame game. Maybe some would consider him a bandwagon fan....but he has not missed a second of Clemson football since that game.
Next year he will go to his first game with me. He can't wait to see Clemson University and Death Valley.

I didn't think it was that criptic.
But here it goes as simple as I can make it.
I am driving in my atombile.
Up and down woodruff rd, which is constantly full of automobiles.
I see with my eyes a lot of automobiles with clemson flags attached to them.
My eyes do not see iptay stickers.

same as mine is:
I have been a member of IPTAY since 1980.
I have never had an IPTAY sticker on one of my vehicles. I keep the card in my wallet, if that matters.
However, I don't fly flags on my vehicle either.

I have an IPTAY sticker on my truck. Current year only, not a collection. As well as a Clemson ring sticker with my grad year. As well as a Tiger paw. And soon will have a National Championship sticker.
My point is, he should have seen at least ONE IPTAY sticker.

1. Trying to shame non-Iptay members as if they are lesser fans, and/or...
2. Shaming Iptay members for not having stickers on their cars to prove their fanhood.
Sorry, but that's how it came across. I welcome all Tiger fans. Iptay members or not. Regardless of a decal on their vehicle.

I am not a Clemson grad although I have always been a Clemson fan and was a member of IPTAY for a number of years. Now that I am retired, I have given up my membership to cut down on expenses.
I didn't realize that meant I couldn't be a fan anymore. I will try to do better in the future.

The greatest pleasure is driving my car around Columbia and Lexington with my flags flying. I do have IPTAY stickers, but I'm just glad to see all of the Clemson flags and magnets.

My degree clearly states that I can fly as many CLEMSON flags as I wish on any vehicle I own, and don't have to take any chit from anyone about doing that. 
I love being old and retired and no longer give a chit what other people think. LOL Ain't life grand?
I rode my motorcycle on Friday, but could not figure out how to mount my other flag on it. I am still working on that. I'll update everyone when I manage to figure that out, or not.
