What teams need to lose today to get us into a #4 seed for the ACC tourny? That is, provided we take care of Pitt.

Could get us there now.
GT winning last night puts them ahead of us.
But Louisville losing and VT missing due to Covid would be the only path left.

Yeah, unfortunately our pathetic showing and coaching at cuse cost us any realistic chance at a double bye.

I think I read where we could end up 7th with a UNC win or something like that. We're a middle of the pack ACC team and that ain't saying too much this year.

ACC basketball could take a worse beating in the tournament than we did in football.

ACC has several good teams....

Only a couple of great ones (FSU & UVA).
But I’m not convinced the rest are ‘down’....with perhaps the exception of Duke & UNC.
Only way we see 7th is if we lose today.
Likely will be 5th...and that is only due to Va. Tech and Louisville missing games...otherwise we probably get 4th. With a win today, We’ll have double digit wins in conference and have done well. We are going to the NCAA tournament. Not sure what else one would expect at this point.

Yep, finishing 5th, 10 conference wins, a darn good overall record, one loss at home and going to the Big Dance! Not small accomplishments......IF we win today!
