He looked great IMO, wish he would have gotten more pitches, didnt think he was that high on the pitch count. His fastball could use some better command but the velo is great. His slider looks nasty, really hope he gets some looks at becoming a weekend starter. Only Higgy had a quality start this weekend and IMO Crawford didnt look comfortable being a starter, I know its only one start each but IMO Weatherly looked like the Saturday starter while Strider looked like the Friday starter. His pounding of the strike zone was great until the last 2 batters, at one point I think he struck out 7 of 9 batters. Hopefully this weekend vs a ranked opp. we will see a rotation shake up.

Don’t think you’ll see anyone new in the rotation this weekend. It’ll take a few weeks for it to get settled. Depending on how the games are going everyone will be on a short leash so to speak.

Think you’ll see a lot of pitchers getting minimum pitch counts- again depending on the game status.
