Always wondered why he was “The Man with No Name” when Tuco always called him “Blondie”.

I guess the scrip t called him that?

Good question.

My favorites were The Trio and The Ecstacy of Gold.

Me too. I listen to ecstasy of gold all the time.

Isn't this when Tuco is running around in the circular graveyard, looking for the grave of Arch Stanton?

Great cinematography! The score, cinematography and Wallach's acting all built together.

Then: "Dig."

Yes, that's the scene. The final scene showdown piece is called the Trio (Il Triello).

Yep. Great movie. Greater music.***

TV and movie scores... The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Mission Impossible, Cool Hand Luke, Mannix, Bullitt, the Dirty Harry flicks and other Clint Eastwood movies. That upbeat jazzy sound with a driving bass and horns was like the soundtrack of my life in the 60's & 70s. He is still with us at 88.

I'm just trying to keep Anna Lee company.
