What baggage? The SEC doesn't care and the NCAA didn't hit him with a show cause. It's not like Saban cares about having high character people on his staff, just effective coaches.

I don't blame him. Freeze gave him fits while he was at Ole Miss.

Not saying I approve of Freeze's actions, but come on... he has a great offensive mind, so I see the appeal.
