Respect for Cole

Not sure if Germans, but looks like Cole is getting at least a little respect considering how little he's played. Why does it make you laugh? He played the full game and beat CU on the road and ECU. He gets credit for beating Missouri on the road, which was really Shaw's win..... But it evens out because he doesn't get credit for beating top ten UCF on the road (played all but first possession). Explain your issue with that 3-0 stat?

That ECU game? You're not talking about the one in which ECU was stomping a hole in USUC while DT was in the game, and Shaw came in late in the game and pulled the "W" out are you? Was there another ECU game that Shaw did NOT play in that DT was the starter? Curious as I cannot remember details.

Cole was a higher rated HS prospect than Thompson. That doesn't mean much , but at some point in their development Stoudt was viewed as the better player.
We will find out this year , and especially when Dylan comes back into Death Valley trying to go 2-0 there.

You are thinking of 2011 when Shaw started and Stephen Garcia came in and led the comeback. The DT win over ECU was a 2012 rout in Columbia, 48-10.

DT's first half against Missouri was one of his better performances. He drove us into the red zone against a quality defense 4 times in that first half, but Mike Davis fumbled twice, missed a FG, and couldn't convert a 4th and inches. He had an average 3rd quarter and then Shaw came in and played lights out.

DT played better at Missouri than he did at Clemson in 2012.
