Wait people are paying to MAYBE buy a ticket? This seems confusing to me.. Why not just use StubHub.

You must have not made it to Tampa. Best thing I did was buy reservations. I actually sold them to pay for my iptay tickets but I know several people who paid $1500 and up for a seat. Atlanta will be even harder if it were to be Bama and Clemson again.

No Gamecocks were in Atlanta***

Why not just join IPTAY at the lowest level and only buy

Sep 18, 2017, 6:22 PM

natty tickets.

You still save thousands of dollars.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

IPTAY won't have tickets for everyone this year

Sep 18, 2017, 11:03 PM

Too many new donors thinking it would save them money on tickets in Atlanta

I purchased six for $63 each. These are also for lower deck tickets.

I could also just sell my rights and just keep the money.

Even as an iptay veteran, Atlanta will be a hard ticket especially if it's Bama again.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No it won't.

Sep 18, 2017, 10:07 PM

Every. Single. IPTAY. Member who requested a ticket last year got one.

They deserve them again, if the secondary market has to be over 1k per ticket, they deserve it. Also that 67 dollars or whatever you are paying is just your right to buy the ticket, not the ticket itself.

How many IPTAY donors this year vs last?***

Correct the $63 I paid is for the right to buy the ticket. Then I have to pay for the ticket. Then I will sit in the lower deck, I might just use two of them and sell the other four. The price to buy the rights has now risen to $445. That amount plus face value of $575 is $1020 total. More than what it cost to buy from IPTAY but Probably still cheaper than buying them on the secondary market Which is what non-IPTAY members would have to do. There are plenty of non iptay members out there that buy Clemson regular season tickets from members all the time.

I am an IPTAY member but if I buy Natty tickets through them they will be in the upper deck. I do not wish to sit in the upper deck.

But you are correct IPTAY members can buy tickets from Clemson. Different amounts of tickets depending on how much one gives and for how long they have been giving. I am sure every member that requests them will get at least 2.

Although after watching people beg to pay $2000 each last year I may also buy them from iPTAY as well and just sell those too. Many people never found tickets to buy for last year's game so they stayed home. Many people went to Tampa and still did not find tickets. Some purchased fake tickets,

Someone said to buy them off Stubhub. They were super expensive on Stubhub last year and the fees are absurd. They are already super expensive on stubhub right now for this years game.

Tickets to Atlanta will be in high demand and the more you can get your hands on, the better.

RSVP now are $695 as of 1400 hrs on 9/19/2017.

Should I just buy it from there?

I am not going to get anything from IPTAY (haven't bought tix through them in quite some time) even though I am a member

It is $600 right now. I would say if you are not going to go through IPTAY, and you think Clemson will make it to the Championship game, and you want to sit in the lower deck then go ahead. $1175 will be much cheaper than what tickets will go for in the secondary market after Jan 1.

My opinion is that $600 is a lot for the right to buy the ticket. It's a gamble.

Another thing you could do to save some money is buy the Alabama rights. They are going for $489. You would be sitting in the Bama section though.
