No but I remember when FMU use to be in the same conference as C of C.

Yes . John Kresse had them playing a pretty high level of basketball in the not too distant past .
He is a great person and a very good teacher of the game .
CoC was dominant in it's division and conference when he was there . They were never an easy out and occasionally knocked off the big boy teams they'd schedule .

Although he was a great coach ,good man and the C of C was a power house NAIA program.
What big dogs did he knock off ?

His last 12 seasons were at the D1 level . In that time he beat UNCheat , Stanford , GT and I believe Maryland .
He has the 5th or 6th highest win % in D-1 history , and won something close to 600 games while losing less that 150 .
I wanted Clemson to get him when Shyatt was let go ... but that might've been too late in his career or maybe he wouldn't have been interested in the first place .
Anyhow , I met him at a basketball camp in the early 90's and he is a really cool fella to chat with . Knows the game like second nature .

I met him at a BB camp in 1990 ,he was a guest coach I reckon is what you called it.
He worked with me on my dribbling technique for almost an hr.
I learned a lot that day from him , the camp as a whole.
