Redshirt rule did it change?

KB has used his redshirt? And unless I am wrong he can’t get another unless he’s is injured.

Kelly played as a true freshman and never used a redshirt year. The new redshirt rules allow players to play for four games in a season and still count it as redshirt year. Kelly could sit out the rest of the year and play one year either at Clemson or somewhere else.

the only reason for him to redhsirt is if he wanted another year of eligibility to go to grad school for free, and even then it would be up to the coaches and he would still have to work and compete at the spot.

He could come back to Clemson next year in a different position. Say WR. With his athletic ability and speed he’d make a good one once he learned the routes.
