Can coaches invite recruits to neutral site games?

Seems like I once heard that this was not allowed and therefore it was a disadvantage to have them on your schedule.(Maybe just because you didn't get them on campus to see all the usual attractions?)

Yes, I thought the same thing. How can this be allowed? Its a neutral site game. He is choosing between the two schools and he is gonna get to hang out on the Auburn sideline. Seems BS to me on Auburns part.

But I dont know the rules on this but it doesn't sound right.
