Yeah, but then he quotes DeShaun as saying, "I just need to find out which school is right for me." Obviously we've got another "commit" who wants a lot of media attention. I'm not all that confident he'll be in the 2014 class in the end.

Watsons Letter of Intent comes through Fax machine.

Lets be real - he is NOT committed to Clemson, period.

Some people need to check out a dictionary and understand what the word means.

ours to lose ... nothing more can be said about a kid who commits that early and really has no particular ties to Clemson.

If he were an in-state prospect who lived nearby or who grew up a Clemson fan, you could probably count on him sticking with his early (perhaps impulsive) committment.

But, since he will now be put through the extreme pressure of a full year of hype and influence by people such as Carvel at the AJC and many, many others, it will be up to our team to produce the kind of season in 2013 that keeps top 2014 recruits interested in playing for the Tigers and up to the staff to "show him the love" or whatever the term is now for months and months of butt kissing attention that these kids seem to crave.

Only time will tell if Watson is serious about his verbal committment to Clemson.

^^^Nailed it--especially the butt kissing.

Gotta love 'em to their satisfaction 'til you get 'em on campus, then de-recruit them.

Festering pile of steaming "journalism". This is a Clemson fan site, why do you guys insist on posting articles from a writer and organization that obviously have an agenda against us?

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer?

Besides, it gives us something to do until August.

Ya'll just feed the machine and he'll keep doing what he's been doing. Mine as well keep doing it b/c he's not going to stop any time soon.

According to Deshaun 95% chance he'll sign with us***

"Gamecocks aren’t ready to take college football by storm just yet. They’re not even ready to compete in their own state – Clemson will still own the territory. I"m not getting to excited about this kid

Would love to have an early signing period to either get his signature October 15 or start looking for another QB. I see this guy departing last minute when Morris starts interviewing again and screwing us in trying to get a QB for this class.

This kid lives in my neighborhood. He is SOLID to Clemson. There will be drama, I'm sure. But, he's a TIGER for now and is looking forward to joining the family.

Carvell know without a doubt he's a Tiger? He courted Carvell's attention with that interview.

Then he will not be a Tiger. Morris is gone after this year. Lets not kid ourselves. I hope he is committed to Clemson and not Morris.
