Recent success against GT

We've really had a ton of success against GT the past 4-5 years or so (not including when Watson got hurt in 2014). Its as if Venables knows exactly whats coming 75% of the time. I'm sure they will break a few long runs...But other than that, I strongly believe the recent trend of success will continue into the valley next Saturday night. Thoughts?

I think we have their number and enough better talent that we'll be ok.

Yeah we are a clearly on a different talent level. And our players are pissed about the how bad we looked against Cuse. I think it has the potential to get ugly early..

our defense only gave up 15 points...........our offense gave them 13 points off of TWO pick sixes.

Yeah that's true, Stoudt definitely did not help the defense out at all

Morris admitted after the game that they really only worked with Watson that week (since he was back from his finger injury from the Loserville game).

Why don't we ever seem to have a prepared back up?

It has seemed that way in the past...As much as I want to believe that backups are completely prepared, it doesn't always seem that way. I feel it falls more on the player though (lack of watching film etc.)

Dorian O'Daniel always has huge games against GT. With Venables as DC uur defense has been excellent at shutting down the option.

I was at the GT game last year and it felt like they never really had a chance, even though our offense didn't play great. I expect our success against the option to continue.

Yeah O'daniel is a major key against the triple option because of his speed and athleticism. I'm expecting our d to get after them early
