Ray Ray's jersey number

Feb 5, 2015, 1:10 AM

I hope Ray Ray ditches that #34 because it's a hideous number for a WR. I doubt that I'm the only one that thought about this. Any thoughts?

Actually, I think you may be the only one but you're surely right to have your opinion.

I agree...Jarrett only got #55 bc the Fridge

Feb 5, 2015, 1:50 AM

Was #55 and obviously Vic Beasley got #3 bc Adams and Daquan. I wish the official rules would just regulate a range of numbers for each position to identify players more gooder and better. I think OL should be forced to only wear #'s btwn like 50-79. Do you know how much more easiest it would be for the D if offensive backs like the QB were limited to #'s btwn 1-49...that way players lined up behind that yellow tv line like Sammy could be considered a back and take the snap at qb thus revolutionizing football offense. I callz it the single wing bc one side of offense looks like a bird w a hurtz wing

Man, I'm sorry, but your whole post is one giant struggle…

Your numbers are way off. Grady Jarrett wore number 50. William Perry wore number 66. Daquan Bowers wore number 93, not number 3.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

Or Foster Brooks

He wore number 34 as a RB in high school. Not as a receiver so it's different.

still since its an eligible number and if he wants it why cant he have it? just because YOU dont like it?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I say it should be 11.

Feb 5, 2015, 10:39 AM

Michael Irving was #40. Must be meaning behind it. He would've had his pick of the litter of #'s

Dude back in the day, people wore all kinda jersey numbers that didn't match their position. There's a hall of fame raider linemen that wore #00....plus, quarterbacks wore numbers in the 20's and we've seen the last of that from that fat one from Kentucky.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It's called style. Like Rodman wearing #'s 73 & 91***

Who knows?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: A unique number may complete the circle for ray

Feb 5, 2015, 11:43 AM

The thing that gets me is that he wears that number because of Walter Payton and he's about to be a wr now. Wouldn't make sense. That's like a corner wearing #18 because of Peyton Manning.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: A unique number may complete the circle for ray

Feb 5, 2015, 11:46 AM

whats wrong with 18 at corner? whats wrong with a corner liking peyton manning? What if someone loves Vick and plays wide out is he supposed to not wear 7?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: A unique number may complete the circle for ray

Feb 5, 2015, 11:54 AM

7 at receiver looks better than 34 at receiver

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think it's cool. Watch h.s./pee wee WRs start CHOOSING to be 34. That's how trends start.

Feb 5, 2015, 12:02 PM [ in reply to Re: A unique number may complete the circle for ray ]

SoMe CaTcH oN aNd SomE dOn't. (Just ask LBB)... BUT...

Name another WR you know who wears #34?

Exactly, I look at it as an opportunity to start a trend.

Feaster wears #28 when (as the best RB in the country) he could easily wear #1, 2, 3..... Whatever he wants on his own h.s. team. Think Spiller had anything to do with that?

Think Warrick Dunn had anything to do w Spiller wear in #28 when CHECK had his pick of the litter?

C'mon man.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He's a Runningback/slot receiver

Feb 5, 2015, 1:24 PM

It's legal and just fine!
