3. NC State
4. VT
5. Maryland
6. @Wake Forest (Thursday night. I always hate these games. Not worried about it this year, though.)

NC State and VT have looked pretty turrible this year. GT always gives us problems.

we have no idea what to expect from this defense against the triple option, and the GT defense is 70th in yards and 69th in points allowed without having faced anything like what they'll see on Saturday.
We lose if we beat ourselves. That's the only way.

they gave umi all they could handle at Miami. Miami also barely got by gt. Somehow Miami is 4-1. There D is below average.
ncstate and gt are so close at 2 and 3 it's a toss up.
What happened to vt? They seem to have taken a step back. You can bet they want to beat us after last year's two defeats.
Maryland has a great defense and a bad offense. One of the few teams that held wvu from scoring a million tds. btw, wvu's offense is amazing and their defense is pitiful. And yet they have a perfect record.
#2 through #5 I see as close scoring games. I just hope we can outscore them all.

but then I think about Rick Stockstill and his boys from mtsu just mashing gt last weekend. I'll bet the tension between Johnson and Groh could be felt this week.
I don't believe gt's defense can stop our O.

the season. I agree that the toughest is the next one. Too early to tell what Coot team we'll face then as opposed to now. They haven't played any bruisers yet so injuries aren't as much of a factor now as it will be then. Point is we're not facing this week's Coot team in Nov.

Good point.. the way this year is going so far I would be at least a little surprised if Connor Shaw makes it through this 3 game stretch alive

I'd put Wake (because it's a Thursday night on the road) and Duke (because they're getting better and it's a road game) over the others because we have home advantage.

other than south carolina.. those are all pitiful compettion. this g ###### acc is holding this program back so badly. look what being in sec has done for usuc. they went from our punching bags to to effin top ten ranked team and mention in the same breath as ga fla and bama just beacause they play those others. i hate the acc.. we will NEVER be accepted by the sports media as a force until we dont have to play the likes of duke w.f. maryland and all the other weak ### acc

Clemson will go some what missing in the media for the next 6 or 7 weeks while playing this Weak ACC schedule.
If they continue to win out they will pop out at the end and re join the national media's coverage right before Thanksgiving.The trick will be to win while no one is paying attention!
