REI... warranty and guarantee...if you're not happy with it then they will let you return gear! Plus you get cash dividends on all purchases..they have all the brand s mentioned in your thread

Used Frogg Toggs ultralight for the Notre Dame washout. Stayed completely dry. Inexpensive. Can get them at Walmart.

I second the Frogg Toggs (Frogg Toggs Pro-Lite Rain Suit). Wore them in the Notre Dame monsoon and the GA Tech downpour last year - light weight and kept me dry the whole time. Frogg Toggs can be rolled up to fit in a small bag and are now part of my gameday gear when there is a chance of rain...

short sleeve rain jacket for summertime/warm football games.

Don't knock it until you try it. Who needs those wet, sloppy sleeves. I mean, do you really care if your forearms get wet?

Look into soft shell jackets from North Face, Arc Teryx, Marmot, Mountain Hardware, Patagonia and the like. They are great for wind and will be water proof with true Gore-Tex material and durability. Different thicknesses for temps but most soft shells handle warm weather well and when you need to layer up, just need to throw on a good mid and base layer.
