since they went to the beaches, bars, restaurants, concerts..and to live with 45-60 yr old parents and were around 65-85 yr old grandparents.

Saying, at college they could have been isolated and 99% would have survived if infected..thus not infecting others much more vulnerable.

While a valid point to some degree, it's the support staff that has to be in place. Places to eat, coupled with the fact you could end up with a mini NY if it broke out. Then hospitals would be overrun.

But do know that MANY, if not MOST college students simply went home, quarantined, and carried on about school online.

Most did not go to beaches, bars, restaurants, and concerts.
