Quick rant about ESPN re:Clemson

Fellow tnetters claim ESPN bias towards the SEC, but when you listen to most of them, they have talked Clemson down in a certain way to build up the blue bloods and knock us down:
Alabama will continue to roll vs. Ole Miss. They put up 51 ppl so far.
OSU is a real contender, they are looking strong will Justin Fields running the offense.
Georgia continues to be one of the best teams in the country and they will show it again this Saturday.
OU with Jalen Hurts is a sight to behold, and their defense playing better than last year. Look out.
LSU May have the best offense in the country, I think they have the best chance to knock off Bama.
Clemson plays at UNC, Mack Brown’s really brought the Heels along. What happens to Clemson if they lose this game?
They hate that Clemson is kicking so much a55, not talking about Herbie and a few others. It is just a consistent theme with them. Proof is watching guys like Joey Galloway and Herbie who don’t drink their company Kool Aid.
Doesn’t bother me because Clemson is the top program and is not presently done winning national titles.

DH should worry about his perennially overrated Wolverines, and the BIG TEN in general. Oh last time we played THE OSU we whitewashed them when they had a great coach. Bring them on. Watching Michigan is like watching slow motion.

Yeah Michigan sucks, but he has a job to do and I dont see us being disrespeted exactly. Some of our fans are too sensitive and not objective.

Being in the ACC with it’s laughable schedule, they should ONLY say that Clemson will roll. Like they do with rest of the top 10, Clemson will beat UNC down into remedial basket weaving, the same as Bama, LSU, OSU, OU, and UGA will.

Clemson won’t beat UNC down the way Ohio State, Bama or OU would.
This is a perception problem every early season among the talking heads.
Dabo chooses to build depth instead of having starters put up video-game numbers the way Ohio State dies.
That’s ok. Clemson will be ready for the stretch run.

I agree ESPN hates us so much that their lead football analyst sent his sons to play for Dabo. They also hate us so much that they have a picture from a Clemson Gameday that takes up an entire side of a building at their headquarters.

Herbie making a personal decision is different than his employer painting a narrative. Decals and pics are to pander to the Football Gods and the premier team in the country. Don’t think for one minute a lot of those guys aren’t itching to see Clemson fall from its perch to be replaced by one of the others.

ESPN's #1 goal is to disrespect and destroy Clemson. Nothing else matters. ESPN's founders, Bill and Scott Rasmussen, were denied admission to Clemson's PRTM program and it made their life's goal to destroy Clemson.

Maybe they just learned something from last year. If you say somebody is the best ever all year, and they get their butt handed to them then you look pretty stupid. Even though they may ask what happens if Clemson loses, I'll bet none of them pick UNC.

The "ESPN hates Clemson" thing is so silly. Can we all please grow up and not be offended so easily (especially when there is next to nothing to be offended about)? Maybe whining is just a big part of our collective DNA.

(Big Ten), but years of the big ten getting exposed by southern schools slowly eroded that bias, which has now switched over to the SEC. Granted, the SEC is a very good football conference, all things considered.
Either way, these days whenever they have a chance to say something nice about a Big Ten team, they jump at it, as evidenced this morning on Gameday when they were talking about who they thought was the best team in the country. 3/5 said Ohio State. 1/5 said Clemson.
Every time we get a shot at Ohio State in the playoffs we embarrass them. But they "look good" so far this year, so the homers are jumping on their bandwagon. Makes me sick.
