Proud of our guys

Mar 24, 2018, 1:10 AM

I do I think we could have won that ballgame though. However, this team exceeded expectations all year and into the tournament. They also put a product on the floor that was fun to watch. Especially proud of Gabe. I remember being glad that we recruited him because we needed scorers and he was such a prolific scorer in HS. He was slow to develop but definitely turned into a great scorer and good leader. A year or two ago would you have believe that he would have been ranked as one of the top 4 players left in the tournament and we would be in the Sweet Sixteen? Wish him the best and have high hopes for Clemson basketball. I haven't been able to say that for several years.

Now if the FB team could exceed expectations we could win the NFC. (no typo). In all seriousness, as a former pitcher for Wofford, I am looking forward to turning my attention to Monte's squad on the diamond but CAN'T WAIT for FB season.

Please no alum Vs nonalum posts LOL. Seriously, if you were at the 81' Championship game as a fetus and don't t miss a home game for 18 years, would you really ever quit pulling for the tigers in favor some tiny ### dogs?? Say what you want about what it implies but I don't have much loyalty to my Alma Mater. Not my kind of people as a collective whole. Caught some serious flack for wearing my Clemson gear when we came to Death Valley in 01'. If I had it to do all over again I would have paid to go to Clemson if I had to rather than a scholarship to somewhere else. Piece of advice to the younger kids, go where you love.

Go Tigers
