It's not a cold, and by the way there is no "cure" for the common cold. It's not influenza though we do have a certain "herd" immunity to the Flu because it's been around forever. We get Flu vaccines every year based on the best guess of what strain of Flu will be most prevalent. Sometimes it's very effective. Sometimes it's not. Covid 19 is a "Novel" Virus which means it's new and we have no natural immunity to it. This virus will be around for a while. Vaccines will help but people will probably need to get an annual flu and Covid shot for the foreseeable future.
