They are going to get hammered (again) but Hurricane Maria over the next few hours. I fear it will be very bad.

where you can sorta see the storm coming in - until the power and/or web goes out

yep just dreadful for them. I have the impression most of the VI is destroyed already. I dont even know where they will go for shelter..

Yeah St Thomas and St John were pretty much destroyed by Irma. St Croix and PR were largely spared by Irma but are getting smashed by Maria. Most of the response on St Thomas had been put on hold until after Maria passed. They are going to have power outages for months.

Yes, it is not good in St Thomas, but it looks like they are being spared on what could have been. It seems to be south of them this time for the strongest winds so far. They have no supplies and utilities will be out for a while.
