It's a pre-portal case, but rewatching some of the ACCCG against UNC last night got me wondering about Germone Hopper.

Transferred out to...nowhere. Never found another school. Apparently he's cutting hair in Charlotte now.

Keep this in mind: Most players entering the portal do NOT hurt the teams they are leaving. It isn't necessarily an indication of disarray at a program. Most are guys who weren't good enough to get the playing time they wanted.

We didn't miss Shaq Smith or Feaster one iota. Same for most teams.

One rare (and big) exception is UGA would have obviously been better with Justin Fields.
