Clemson will look to work its talented receivers against Florida State's lone position of inexperience - field cornerback. Redshirt freshman Nick Waisome and true freshman Ronald Darby have split time there through the first three games but Waisome says he's ready for it.

"I'm going in there, I want (Sammy Watkins) to have zero receptions, that's just how I go about it," said a confident Waisome, who earned the starting job after Greg Reid was dismissed from the team in the offseason. "Obviously you're going to give up some, it's part of the game."

Fisher said he expects Saturday to be a litmus test for his secondary.

"You're going to learn a bunch," he said. "You're going to find out, because (Clemson's wide receivers) are about as good as it gets. They're one of the best groups out there and you're going to find out a lot about our guys. It's a game where you can't take a play off because one of them will slip by you or break a tackle or whatever they have to do to make a big play."

If he said - "I'm going to hold Sammy to 0 receptions" - that would be bulletin board material.

He just said he wants to hold him to 0 receptions and then followed that by saying it wasn't going to happen.
