Playing on Sunday

Sep 21, 2017, 3:32 PM

A few days ago a recruit stated that he wanted to play on Sunday. Unless the NFL gets its act together there might not be a place to play on Sunday in the very near future. Tickets for the San Francisco and LA game can be bought for 15 bucks this weekend. A dip #### washed up qb for San Francisco started all of this. It is spreading from team to team like a virus. It appears that the golden eggs want to kill the goose that laid them. I for one refuse to watch any NFL games period and a lot of others have stopped watching and attending.

Do you really not understand sarcasm?

But on a serious level, you're talking about a game between teams that were horrible last year, and at least one of them is still horrible this year. Do you think a lot of 49er fans want to go watch that #### show?

The average price of the lowest ticket cost according to ESPN's website for this weekend is $71.81. If you think this game is failing you are completely off base and out of touch with the sports world.

I believe you are the one out of touch. Attendance is down consistently through out the league. And I do know the difference between sarcasm and stupidity, I am not sure you do. Let's meet for a beer and discuss this.

if the MLB can sustain a league with the salaries they pay and the attendance they have (or DON'T have) for most regular season games... i think the NFL will be ok.

This would seem to contradict your claim.

Or you could check out this link:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/249372/average-regular-season-attendance-in-the-nfl/

which shows average attendance was actually more last year than it was in 2008.

As for the beer, I think I'd rather drink alone, but thanks for the offer.

Average attendance is one thing. Total attendance is another.

NFL - Total Season Attendance per team = 550,128
MLB - Total Season Attendance per team = 2,458,026

What is the ole saying? Their are lies, damm lies and then their are statistics

MLB also has 10x the number of games.

NFL - 550,128/8 = 68,766
MLB - 2,458,026/81 = 30,346

Your stats end in 2015. Kraphead started taking a knee last year. If you choose to defend someone and the NFL that insults our country by refusing to stand for the anthem that's on you. The average Joe six pack American is fed up with this crap. The NFL is headed over a cliff unless they regain control of the league.
