Brown was graded as the 3rd best player in the draft and they got him at the 7th pick. Simmons is a great player and would have helped the Panthers but they needed a DT as well and they got one of the best college DTs I have ever seen play. They couldn't have went wrong either way.

I get that the pick wasn’t terrible and Brown fills a need. However, the Panthers have secondary and d-line needs. They could fill the need for d-line in FA. Simmons places so many positions in the secondary where they wouldn’t have to go get three different FAs for that.

It was a really good pick for them. Isaiah would have been great as well, but it was a really solid pick.

The only team that will make me pull against TL is those sorrry Panthers . I hope and pray that they have a good season next year and he is gone before they pick next season. Then they can tank it,!!
