They sail a bit - too high of an arc and too slow to the flat. KB will dial that in as we go. It's a difficult throw because it doesn't permit the receiver to adjust to the ball as much as a deep bomb.

Respectfully disagree on that one. This is EXACTLY the game you need to be able to rehearse the timing of these connections. Sure, you don't expose every conceivable wrinkle of the scheme, but the nuts and bolts can get well lubricated today...
