why does the car driver always have one more gear to change ?

why aren't they already in high gear ?

Seems like poor driving technique to me.

It happens in a lot of different disciplines in movies.

Sports movies with the over importance of inspirational coach speeches.

Stupidly played poker hands.

Computer hacking always being just a bunch of typing as fast as possible.

There’s a bunch of others I can’t think of right now

People on the interstates act like they don't want you passing them ..but they are holding up the lanes like another car is in front of them or something...when at the same time their is plenty of space for me to pass or get in front of them. Then they try to run you into other cars when you try to pass them.
