You could have stopped after your first two words (Paul Johnson). By keeping him, GT has made it loud and clear that football is not a big priority for them. It's crazy to think that such a mediocre program has SIX national championships and an overall winning record against UGA (despite only winning eight times in past 36 years).

I think they are going to have to lower some of their academic requirements if they want to bring in top talent. I'm guessing not many kids that consider themselves football stars are considering engineering in college (no offense to the engineers on here). I think I remember reading that everyone, regardless of major, has to take calculus there. That alone is going to hurt them from a football standpoint.
