I never hear anyone talking about how many times they watched it . One of the greatest games in our programs history if you ask me .

Sluggish start, then took all of 2 minutes of game time

to kill Notre Dame's spirit. I still get ticked off at the fumble recovery they took away from us because they said forward progress was stopped.

It was my favorite road trip to date. And I've taken plenty of them. I still think Notre Dame had the best defense we faced all year. And we basically shut down our offense after 3 qtrs

I’d say ND had the 2nd best defense we faced.

I enjoyed the whole experience from meeting old friends for dinner on Friday night in Dallas to having brunch with other friends in Ft Worth on Sunday. The great Notre Dame fans before and after the game, the eagle that wouldn't return to its trainer in pre-game, the intensity, precision, and execution of the Clemson offense and defense, the bands...it was all spectacular. I sat among ND and Clemson fans and it was a great afternoon of football. Only negative was a drunk Clemson fan who was totally obnoxious during the game. But what a game!!!

The one thing I don’t like about the playoffs is no one

remembers the semifinal games. It really hit home to me with the Fiesta Bowl win over Ohio State. That was one of the most complete games against a great team that I ever saw and all anyone could talk about was playing the National Championship the next week. Clemson has won 3 games in the last 4 years against three of the biggest names in college football in three of the greatest Bowls and no one talks about it. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the four team playoff but this is what comes along with it.

The Ohio State game might be the best performance Dabo and Co have delivered, including all of this year. Ironically, the previous 40-35 OSU might have been the more important game in the programs development, that or LSU.
Now, I remember the playoffs. I don't think you forget the semi-final games but at the same time look at the outcome of the finals. The '17 performance of Watson and Renfrow was by far the "best" Clemson game ever. I nearly ran two miles with excitement in the middle of the night, I could not stop jumping up and down. Next, how can you not love the 44-16 result, it wasn't as good of a game (to watch) but a better outcome.
Finally, semifinal stick in folks heads, even with *that* year when we only scored 6 points. We made/expected major changes and while it took a while, we got them.

make it a point to order the semifinal game program and have at least one shirt from the semifinal game. I have a great Cotton Bowl shirt as well as Fiesta and Orange Bowls. I even got a great deal in Clemson on a Sugar Bowl shirt while in town for the spring game last year. The semifinal games are great accomplishments. Cotton Bowl Champs!!!!! Orange Bowl Champs and Fiesta Bowl Champs. Sugar Bowl appearance.

Have watched the Cotton Bowl 3 times. Fantastic game. Somehow my attempt to DVR the Natty failed but my ordered DVD will finally arrive today. Wonder if being married to a Coot fan.....nah. She wouldn't sabotage me like that.

44-16 tends to make people forget a lot of other games.
