We have 9 true freshmen listed in the 2-deep

That's counting the backup long snapper and punter, but still...9 seems like a lot to me.

5 Srs Starting. I still think we're going to have a special

season record wise- 10 or more wins as most predicted, however, I figured we'd take a step back next year when many guys departed- back to 8 wins or so. With the injuries and # of guys we are rotating in, I just don't see the droppoff occurring next year. I still think we're at the start of the best 2-3 year run win-wise since the late 90's.

I agree. You hate to have injuries, but 1 positive is the valuable experience being gained by the younger guys. We have to try to put a postitive spin on things right now.

I know State has been struggling,

but their defense is not that bad. They have their best quarterback coming back this week (hurt in the USuC game) which won't help our struggling defense. With that being said I think we continue to improve with practice this week-sounds like they are finding the problems, trying to correct them, and changing personnel where needed. We will win-they know what's at stake (a loss to State will be hard to overcome) and the crowd has to do their part even at high noon. Start drinking early.

State's best QB = best ballerina in Bennettsville

State's defense is bigger than the Citadel's but at least as slow.

They will score on us, simply because they've got a solid tight end, and we've had troubles cover the TE.

But we can outrun and outthrow them, and I agree: our guys know what's at stake.

And I'll certainly amen the early drinking.

Why does Kevin Alexander keep starting over Bowers?

Bowers is clearly the better player.
