The awards that a earned on the field with a Win by beating another team by a score are the ones that count. Dabo does it for the team not an award an in the long run those promote being a team and winning together.

Hurts's passing numbers are basically the same as Lawrence's, but he also has 1255 yards and 18 TD on the ground. So that one's not even close. Young has a shot at breaking the NCAA single season sack record which wouldn't really even require an asterisk since he missed 2 games. This isn't news guys. Nobody on Clemson's team was ever going to have a legitimate shot at the Heisman this year. They rotate too much and spread the ball around. That generally leads to more important trophies anyway.

There were only so many spots. Those guys are deserving too. TL got off to a slow start and took some time to get going. TL was never in the conversation after a few games.

Chase Young had a great year too. I think they got caught up in the narrative of putting a defensive player in there. ETN was 6th in the nation in rushing. We would have had to grind ETN into the ground for him to win it. I am glad ETN is fresher going into the playoff.
