Regardless of what he did it was a violation against team rules that hurt his image and hurt his team in the long run in not being available for the game. It could have been for tying his shoelaces wrong and it wouldn't matter.. Anything that violated team rules is bad. I think he more than deserved to be at the banquet. He played extremely well this year, showed up for classes on time in January and will do what is required of him to be on the field this year
