Can we please get Earl Grant? The guy is familiar with our program, he has built C of C into a winner, he knows how to recruit, he is young an energetic, a native of South Carolina. What more could we want?

again, shaka is a good guy. but right now the question is .. will he survive at Texas, a school that pours a lot more resources into basketball, in a state that produces a ton more players than SC. It's just the old thing where if you fire a defensive minded coach, you hire an offensive one and vice versa. just would be unusual to fire a guy and hire one of his old assts.

I have always liked Earl.
I dont think Brad's program was the same in year 5 after Earl left for Charleston. The defense isn't as consistent.
Earl was the one that convinced Brad to offer KJ McDaniels.
