Defensive coordinator Brent Venables admitted Saturday that he liked some of the things he saw out of his defense Saturday, but also said he thinks a summer of work and film study can make the group even better. Full Story »

Coach V mentioned Cordrea (Tankersley) right after he mentioned Mackensie. In my opinion Tankersley looked the best out of all the cornerbacks. He had some pass breakups and had solid coverage all day. Not to mention he is a big guy for a corner who can run. I think our defense will be okay.
