Top defensive end says Tigers are "in a really good place"

One of the nation’s top defensive ends for the 2017 recruiting cycle was back in Clemson this past weekend, and he said the atmosphere in Death Valley was electric. The visit also leaves the Tigers in “a really good place” for his services.

Sounds good for us. But I think we should have our pick of talent , there's no place like Clemson. I have a kid here in Aiken that is a talented young man. DE 6'5 235 junior. He's made trips to Clemson , Georgia and FSU. His dad was told by a friend on UGA 's staff " as a freind I'm telling you this, have him go to Clemson if you want him in the NFL. They have a great way of teaching football , that many teams don't" I was shocked because they're UGA fans. But he wants what's best for his son. And what I've seen from his son's character, he's a Clemson man. He just doesn't know it yet.

last Feb, right after national signing day. I asked him if he was getting any time off. He laughed and gave me that "seriously?" look. Great to see him recruiting that territory. If we can just pull 1-2 studs each year from NoVA/MD just to keep the door open would be awesome.
