Fighting attitude: Elliott likes what he sees out of Hyatt

The Clemson football team wore full pads during Monday’s early practice session, and that meant the PAW drill. Which also means there was plenty of extracurricular activity during and after several plays. Full Story »

Aug 11, 2015, 10:35 AM

I recently watched the ESPN 30:30 on The Boz .... I saw many similarities between Bosworth and Boulware ...

We are fortunate Boulware's blood is Orange ....

Instead of "the boz" he can be "the bull". It really fits his reckless nature

I don't think that there is anything reckless about Ben Boulware. I believe that everything you see coming from Boulware on the field is deliberate with the intentions to bring a precise nastiness to everybody he faces on the opposite side of the LOI. Baby face Ben feeds off of bringing the pain. Reckless, I don't see it!!!

Arguably the best response to "do you like to see that sort of passion" in your players is, "No, dude. I prefer they arrive and work and play stoically, with no passion whatsoever. Here's your sign."

Ben "Baby Boz" Boulware

Hopefully he will be half a step quicker without the hair. Glad to hear "quiet" Hyatt is a nasty fighter in the trenches.

Aug 11, 2015, 12:27 PM

He'll see the majority of blitzes this season. Hope he will get some help.

I think that we will see a lot of TE or FB help for Mitch Hyatt until he gets some experience and stronger. Protecting DW4 from his blind side is a must to keep him healthy. There is no doubt that every team we face is going to try and put a lick on DW4 to test his toughness and durability. Everybody knows to beat us, they must remove DW4, the main driver of our offense!!!
