Need a receiver? Who ya' take Bryant or Bruce Ellington?

May 10, 2014, 10:42 AM

Ellington could step right in and be productive. Bryant has way more upside.

Being a Clemson fan, I'd say Bryant and his potential.

Should have stayed another year. The Govt. and State would have helped with the kids. Bruce had a more productive college career IMO.

Honestly, probably Bruce Ellington.

May 10, 2014, 10:51 AM

It would depend on my team and the need. Ellington is ready to step in and immediately be productive, Bryant is more raw and probably the better of the two long term. (Bryant should have stayed another year. I believe it would have helped him alot.)

With all that said, I hope Bryant goes first!

I hate to say it, but the Ellington blood line is fierce

May 10, 2014, 10:51 AM

they are both great competitors......

If you can afford a year or two of development and need a big body you go Bryant.

If you need a jack of all trades to help now you go Ellington. Just like his brother, I think Ellington may be a guy who has a career BETTER then his draft position. We will know that in 3 or 4 years.

Probably depends on scheme. If you are a 3wr team I could see leaning towards Bruce if you are a 2WR team I would go Byrant.

At this point, Bruce... MB only had 1 good year

Hard to tell but I think they'll both do well

"Raw/upside" players rarely develop.

May 10, 2014, 11:24 AM

I would be surprised of MB lasts longer than three years in the NFL. That's just an honest opinion. I'd love to be wrong.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I am so confused

May 10, 2014, 12:09 PM

You say he should come out early, but then you say he is raw. It would seem that an extra year of practice and games would help that.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree with most on here

May 10, 2014, 11:33 AM

And I would go with Bruce. He's made more plays and has been consistent his whole career. Bryant does have more upside tho and if he goes to the right team, he could be one of the best in the league.

School loyalties aside and with all due respect to MB,

May 12, 2014, 7:02 AM

I'd have to select Ellington, who I thought should have been drafted earlier.

Then again, the NFL hasn't hired me, could care less about my opinions and would simply say, "Get over it...the draft is over."
