ND quarterback out against FSU

I know FSU is bad but I’d love them for one game to bring the talent together and beat ND. Blackman put up huge numbers against NCST. I also want Syracuse to beat ND as well, ND just losing every game here out will be fine with me.

I think we want ND to win

They'd be an easy game before Bammer.

I want ND to stay in the top 4 so we can kick their skinny behinds. I prefer that task be available to the Tigers.

I'd much rather see Syracuse beat ND next week.

Wimbush started their first 3 games before Book took over at the end of the Vandy game. He threw 4 picks to 1 td I believe in those 3 games, but somehow they still won them all.

And to think Wimbush was featured on one of the covers of a preview magazine a few months ago. Again, nothing more than slick marketing. Gotta put somebody from ND on there. Nick Bosa was on one of Phil Steele's previews. Not even with the Bucknuts any longer.

this was the one i predicted they could lose.

FSU has clemson-like talent. they just don't have any esprit de corps. It is possible for a team like that to put it all together for one magical night. Especially if they get a break or two early on and suddenly start gel.

They had it against Miami and fell apart.

definitively say that they failed to develop that talent. The guys that FSU put on the field against us were nowhere near as skilled as our group and haven't been for a couple of years now. Something happened towards the end of Jimbo's tenure.

I'd say multiple scandals/incidents hurt Jimbo's recruiting. Why send your son to FSPU when he can go to Clemson or 'Bama?

They need a game plan that works without

an offensive line.

If Taggert can invent that, then they may have a chance.

31/23 and snow in South Bend. Won't matter who plays QB for ND.

Not sure why anyone wants ND in the CFP. CLEMSON will NOT get to pair up with them, as the CFPC will figure out how to pair ND with Bama, so they get the easy warm-up scrimmage win. No - CLEMSON will get UM or the other SEC team that the CFPC is diligently working to include in the CFP.

No way they leave the Big Ten out again...

Tigers will defeat Michigan or Ohio State in the first round.

Michigan = terrible on offense.
Ohio State = terrible on defense.

I actually think the CFP Committee will try to set-up...

a Bama v. Notre Dame final so Clemson and Notre Dame will play in the semi finals.

ND starter being out just puts in their starter for the first 1/3 of this season and last year back in. Kid has been in big games.

We want ND to win. I want to play them as the playoff. It would be an easy playoff game for us, and would allow us to stay rested and healthy for Bama in the championship.

As much as I would love FSU to win, I want to play ND in the playoff. Or Meechigan.

I want ND to win out for 2 reasons:

1) ND would be an easier opponent for us
2) It would stop the SEC from getting two teams in the playoff.

Bama would beat the winner of Michigan/OSU but Michigan would be a physical game for them.

I want us to play Bama for the Natty and beating Notre Dame on the way would be the icing on top.

We still have lots of football left though.

How would the committee view a ND loss to FSU without their starting QB? I don't think they treated our loss to Syracuse without KB as a loss.

ND has not been a dominant team this year. Several of their wins have been close. Also, they don't play a CCG, which I believe hurts them.

Two reasons:
