of Dabo. Exactly what else could a proven head coach have done that Dabo hasn't done at Clemson? About the only thing I can see is that a proven HC would have taken more money and left less for qualified assistants.

Dabo has 4 years under his belt and I think we are on a better pace than we were with our last proven head coach hire.

scarcely call that "proven." Sure the guy has had two good seasons there, but he's also had two absolute beasts at QB. Maybe he had something to do with that, or maybe he just inherited two stud QBs.

The guy hasn't even had to coach with his own recruits yet.
