I understand the UNC Administration is asking for a delay. The basketball team has a practice scheduled for Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, and they prefer there be no distractions.

bothered revising their list of charges the third time. Look for UNC to get bulldozed. One of their programs, probably women's basketball, may simply be killed. As I recall, that was the program that was just egregiously using the AA Studies classes. But look for the men's team to lose all championships for the past 20 years or so. What else could the NCAA do? The players were ineligible academically.

please keep in mind that we are talking about what is probably the most severe case of cheating and academic fraud ever. This occurred over a nearly 20 year period and involved both the athletic department and university administrators, including some employees knowing lying about it and trying to cover their tracks after the fact.
I fully expect the penalties to be significant, as they should be. If they weren’t going to be severe, the NCAA would’ve come forward with the mild slaps on the wrist long before now.
I for one can’t wait! Those rednecks deserve every bit of punishment they get.
