Yep. I believe there was a court justice in the 60s that said something to the effect of “This is a court of law, not justice.” Basically meaning that the parameters of which is considered “law” changes, which somehow alters what we perceive to be “justice” when in reality justice is always straightforward.

the judge in Texas who bought the “affluenza,” defense. If you are rich and powerful(like UNC, USC for years, and UCLA) you get away with murder, if you are poor, like SMU, Rutgers, UNLV, and Clemson in the eighties, you get the shaft.
