Trying to figure out how to let schools down gently. Any thoughts or ideas? We just told Harvard to F off. It was actually quite satisfying.

If that is how you feel, then find what school that you and your son would absolutely feel the best at, and tell the rest the same as you told Harvard. Save maybe Princeton, Yale or maybe University of Pennsylvania for a fall back just in case whom ever y'all do choose don't work out. You could also save those for a graduate program that your choice may not have!!!:)
