neither one is ranked. And yay for us @ #12. I hope we dont start hearing bs about how weak the acc is in basketball.

FSU is just outside of both polls...

And I would argue they are a top 25 team.
Rankings are difficult this year with all the postponements.
It seems like there are a lot of ACC teams that are in the 15-25 range....and FSU is probably as good as those teams are.
I appreciate that we are currently ranked where we are...but there is a long way to go and I don’t necessarily view us as better than some of the teams ranked behind us.
We’ll probably win some, lose a few and float in the rankings.
But the main thing is to be in the top 4 of the ACC for the tourney and get a decent NCAA tourney seed...anything else is gravy.
