Injured Clemson Wide Receiver Mike Williams Wearing Jersey From Season Opener As A Cape

This young college football season has been filled with unfortunate injuries. One of the earliest was that to Clemson star wide receiver Mike Williams, who suffered a small neck fracture after colliding with a goal post in the season opener against Wofford. Williams has been keeping his spirits up, and has already assumed a role helping coach the wide receivers until he can return to action. Today, Williams was spotted wearing the jersey that he had to be cut out of as a cape around the Clemson facility.

I know some of the sentences are rather long, maybe it would be helpful to break them down into smaller chunks and read them aloud to yourself.

Mike Williams is a 21 or 22 yr old college kid. I am pretty sure when I was 21-22 I did some stuff that made older folks shake their head too. Let him have some fun.

Yes...his jersey was cut to get it off him. He's now wearing that cut jersey as a cape around campus.

Hmmm? Makes perfect sense to me. Not sure what you're missing.
1. He was wearing a jersey when he was playing football and hit the goal post.
2. He was hurt and had to be cut out of said jersey.
3. He is now wearing the jersey that was cut off of him as a cape (think Superman).
I'm confused as to how you cannot understand that.

If it takes three sentences to explain one then the sentence's composer failed. The goal is to communicate with everyone, every time.
I'm guilty of throwing chit like that up on tigernet's boreds. It's careless and inconsiderate. BTW, I got it and I expect everyone else did too.
