The "no A/C in the bus" excuse is weak, and I am tired of

May 9, 2006, 3:09 PM

hearing it. The team should have been conditioned enough to deal with the heat. We were not prepared to play A and M and that is the bottom line. Complaining that no A/C caused a loss is a cootish tactic, and frankly I am sick of it.

dude... chill out!!!! it was a game 2 years ago... i'll agree that the excuse is a little weak, but you don't know how hot it was and how much energy they let out through the way of sweat.

but, even if it was a bunch of BS.... it's over and done with. let it gooooo......

I ask you to sit in a car for 45 minutes with no AC, windows down in 100degree heat. Then go play a game where the field according to the announcers was up close to 115degrees. Yes we were not conditioned to play in that kind of heat, but when you are sweating for 45minutes it takes a long time for a body to get rehydrated and the muscles to get rehydrated.

Not to mention the fact that a 45min bus ride can kinda kill excitement for a game.

But we were outplayed that game hands down, but I know one thing, the fact that the defense was on the field 75% of the game I am sure they would have liked those 45mins back on the bus to keep all possible energy in em
